Inviting Users

Documented here are the steps to inviting a new user to your organization and the steps for them to accept the invitation.

You must be an Org Admin to invite new users. If a user needs access to Humio or any other role, you will need to contact the SOC.

Invitation Process

  1. Navigate to your organizations page.

  2. In the top-right corner click the button with the three horizontal dots and click the Users item from the dropdown menu that appears.

  3. Once on the users page, click the blue icon button in the top right corner of the page.UserAddButton

  4. Fill in the user’s name and email. Then click Invite User.

Joining process

  1. The user will get an email titled Pondurance Notifications: New User invitation giving them the url to scope and telling them to sign up.

  2. After getting this email, the user must sign up using the Sign Up tab (displayed below) and not the Log In tab. The email tells them these instructions.UserAddButton

  3. After the user signs up, they will get another email titled Welcome to Pondurance Scope to confirm their account. The user must click the link in this email to confirm their account and then they will be able to log in and use Scope.
