Pondurance recommendation: Use a static IP instead of DHCP.
IP address configuration
- From the main menu, select Network Config
- Choose your IP configuration type, DHCP and Static IP is supported
- Follow the instructions to enter your IP information and accept the prompts
Bonding Configuration
This is only supported for network sensors, if the Appliance does not have multiple Network Interfaces the bonding configuration will not complete successfully. This step is not required to run as the provisioning process will complete the steps automatically, however it is useful if you'd like to verify your SPAN / TAP configuration.
- Select Bonding configuration in the Network Config submenu
- Accept the prompts
